Garden

Rahul had a small but beautiful garden. There were many lovely flowers
like Roses, Hibiscus, Dahlia, Sunflower and Jasmine. Rahul took good care
of this colourful garden. Everyday the sun rays would fall on this garden
and the flowers would dance and sway. Sometimes small birds would
come to Rahul’s garden.

One morning Rahul came to water the plants and what did he hear? The
flowers were talking to each other. Sunflower said with joy “Hey look, here
comes Rahul with his water can.” Dahlia said, “Thank God I am very
thirsty”.
Rose said “I will drink all the water and bloom into a pretty flower and
make Rahul happy”. Hibiscus smiled and said “As soon as I bloom Rahul
will pluck me and give me to his mother”. Jasmine said “My fragrance will
make Rahul happy too!”
Rahul was glad to see that all the flowers were happy. He began to sing and
slowly watered the plants.
